विश्व में बढ़ रहा है दलहनों का उत्पादन, ट्रेड व खपत: IGC

★ IGC के अनुसार विश्व में पिछले 5 वर्षों में दलहनों के क्षेत्र में बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल हुई।

★ विश्व में सभी दलहनों का उत्पादन 1000 लाख टन रहता है जिसमें चना, मटर, मसूर की हिस्सेदारी 40% है।

★ 2015 के बाद विश्व में दलहनों का ट्रेड 29% बढ़कर 2024 में 210 लाख टन पहुंचा।

★ पहले भारत, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, म्यांमार व कनाडा की मोनोपाली थी पर अब नए खिलाड़ी जैसे कि रशिया, अर्जेंटीना, टर्की भी मैदान में कूदे।

Production, trade and consumption of pulses is increasing in the world: IGC

★ According to IGC, a major achievement has been made in the field of pulses in the last 5 years.

★ The production of all pulses in the world is 1000 lakh tons in which the share of gram, peas and lentils is 40%.

★ After 2015, the trade of pulses in the world increased by 29% and reached 210 lakh tons in 2024.

★ Earlier India, Australia, Myanmar and Canada had a monopoly but now new players like Russia, Argentina and Turkey have also jumped into the field.
