Moong buying weak due to increased pressure of arrivals

New Delhi. Moong prices declined during the current week also due to increased pressure of arrivals of new moong in the producing markets and weak demand. Due to weak demand of moong dal, buying by stockists and millers has remained sluggish, due to which pressure remains on moong prices. Due to the sluggish demand of dal millers, Delhi moong prices declined by Rs. 400 per quintal in the current week and the price remained at Rs. 7500/8000 per quintal.
Rajasthan
Due to increased availability and weak demand from stockists, prices of moong in Rajasthan markets witnessed a decline of Rs. 200/400 per quintal during the current week and the prices at the weekend remained at Jodhpur Rs. 5500/7600, Jaipur Rs. 7100/7800, Sumerpur Rs. 6000/7500, Nagaur Rs. 7500/7900, Merta Rs. 6000/8000 and Kishangarh Rs. 5000/7300 per quintal.
Madhya Pradesh
Due to sluggish demand, prices of Madhya Pradesh moong declined by Rs. 150/300 per quintal during the current week and the prices remained at Rs. 6000/8050 for Pipariya, Rs. 7500/8200 for Indore, Rs. 5200/8301 for Kareli and Rs. 5000/7600 per quintal for Jabalpur.
Karnataka
Due to weak buying by dal millers, prices of Karnataka moong declined by Rs. 100/200 per quintal during the current week and the prices remained at Rs. 4500/8000 for Gulbarga, Rs. 6700/8389 for Bidar, Rs. 6570/7700 for Hubli, Rs. 6867/8172 for Yadgir and Rs. 6732/8500 per quintal at Gadag.
Maharashtra
Due to weak demand from dal millers, Maharashtra moong prices declined by Rs. 200/300 per quintal during the current week and at the end of the week, the prices remained at Rs. 7000/8000 for Latur, Rs. 7200/9850 for Akola, Rs. 7000/7800 for Barshi, Rs. 6000/8000 for Ahmednagar and Rs. 6500/8400 per quintal for Dudhani.
Others
Due to the impact of all-round decline and weak demand, Lalitpur moong prices declined by Rs. 500 per quintal this week and with this decline, the price remained at Rs. 6500/7200 per quintal at the end of the week. Moong Dal
Due to sluggish demand, prices of Moong Dal declined by Rs. 100/200 per quintal during the current week and the prices remained at Delhi Rs. 10000/13050, Jodhpur Rs. 9400/9700, Jaipur Rs. 9800, Bhatapara Rs. 10600, Jalgaon Rs. 1050000 and Indore Rs. 9400/10500 per quintal.
