Paddy-Rice prices improve due to buying by millers-exporters

It looks like the rice market is showing some positive movement, especially due to the export activity picking up.

In particular, the demand for Basmati rice seems to be helping boost prices, with increases in various mandis like Narela in Delhi and Bhatpara in Chhattisgarh.

The growing demand tied to Ramadan and the efforts to expand Indian rice exports to African markets are also fueling this trend.

The domestic rice market appears to be in a good position as well, with enough stock available, along with favorable exchange rates.

The exemption of rice exports from controls and duties is likely contributing to more confidence from exporters.

Do you think this trend will continue in the coming weeks, or might we see fluctuations depending on global demand and domestic supply conditions?
