Kanpur. Due to increase in availability of port peas and sluggish demand, prices of peas have shown a downward trend during the current week. Pressure was seen on prices of peas due to increase in imports and increase in stock. Due to increase in selling by importers and sluggish buying, prices of imported peas have seen a decline of Rs. 50 per quintal this week and the prices at the end of the week remained Mumbai Canada Rs. 3800/3850, Russia Rs. 3550/3600 and currency Canada Rs. 3650/3700 ​​and Russia Rs. 3500/3550 per quintal. Due to lack of customers, Kanpur peas witnessed a decline of Rs. 125 per quintal this week and the price remained at Rs. 3975 per quintal at the weekend. Similarly, Lalitpur peas also witnessed a decline of Rs. 150/200 per quintal during the current week and the price remained at Rs. 3200/3500 per quintal at the weekend. Due to sluggish buying, Mahoba peas witnessed a decline of Rs. 50 per quintal last week and remained at Rs. 3650/3800 per quintal at the weekend. Similarly, Mauranipur peas also witnessed a decline of Rs. 100 per quintal and the price remained at Rs. 3500/3550 per quintal at the weekend. Due to the impact of all-round decline and sluggish demand, Damoh peas witnessed a decline of Rs. 50 per quintal and with this decline, the price reached Rs. 3600/3700 ​​per quintal at the weekend.
