Export Sales data for the week ending February 26 will be released on Thursday morning. Traders expect net wheat sales to range between 200,000 and 500,000 tons. New crop sales are estimated between 0 and 100,000 tons.
Statistics Canada will also release planting intentions data on Thursday. According to a Reuters survey, total wheat acreage is expected to be 26.4 million acres, down from 26.9 million acres last year. Spring wheat acreage is estimated at 18.8 million acres, nearly steady compared to 2025.
