Wheat Sale Under OMSS Announced, Reserve Price Set at ₹2,550/Quintal for 2025-26 Season
★ The government has announced the sale of wheat under the Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) for the 2025–26 season.
★ The reserve price has been set at ₹2,550 per quintal (excluding transportation costs) for all private buyers, central cooperative agencies such as NAFED, NCCF, Kendriya Bhandar, as well as for community kitchen programs.
★ However, the sale of wheat to private millers for Bharat brand atta is not permitted under this scheme.
★ Further details — such as total wheat allocation, tender quantities, and miller-wise distribution — will be shared once officially released.
