New Delhi. With the aim of providing comprehensive and accurate information and necessary data regarding the production, use, trade and market price of wheat, Teflaz is organizing a two-day Wheat Summit on 26 and 27 September 2025 at 'The Westin Powai Lake Hotel', Mumbai.
Many policy makers, flour millers, traders, seed companies and agricultural technology related institutions are expected to participate in it. This summit is going to prove beneficial in many ways.
After China, India is the second largest producer and consumer of wheat in the world, but unlike China, India is almost self-sufficient in wheat production and there is negligible need to import it from abroad.
As a result, the movements of the global wheat market do not have any significant effect on India. But due to the change in the equation (balance) between supply and availability and demand and consumption in the domestic sector, there is an atmosphere of fluctuation in prices.
In the Wheat Summit, concrete estimates will be made about the possible fluctuations in the domestic market price of wheat in the coming time and the supply chain scenario of wheat products (atta, maida, semolina etc.) from the farms to the flour mills and from the flour mills to the consumer's homes will be seriously discussed.
Many eminent analysts and experts of the wheat production industry and trade will present their views with data in this program, which will help all the parties in making their future strategy.
