New Delhi. The upward trend in almond kernel prices continues. According to market experts, a stronger US dollar and rising almond prices in California have pushed up import costs. As a result, almond kernel prices have increased by ₹15–20 per kg over the past week, and the price of American almond kernels in the Delhi market has now risen to ₹820–825 per kg.

However, trading activity remains limited at these levels as buyers are waiting for better opportunities. Market sources say that import data for November—expected to be released during the current week—will be crucial. Although there are currently no clear signs of a price decline, prices may soften if imports turn out to be higher. Otherwise, the bullish trend in almond prices is likely to continue.
