New Delhi. Today, the prices of black pepper rose. However, due to the continuously rising prices, the spot trade of black pepper has come to a standstill.

There is neither buyer nor seller at the increased prices. Due to the increase in prices in the international market, the prices of black pepper are also being quoted at a high level in the Indian markets.

Sources say that due to low production in Vietnam, the prices of black pepper from Vietnam are increasing day by day. It is worth mentioning that last week the price of black pepper in Vietnam was quoted at $ 6500/6700 and the price of Brazil was $ 7700 per ton.

Whereas today the price of Vietnam is quoted at $ 7800/8000 and that of Brazil at $ 8500 per ton. Due to the high import cost and the stoppage of selling in the local market,

the prices of black pepper were also quoted at Rs 70/80 per kg in the Indian markets today. Sources say that the market of black pepper is dependent on Vietnam.

If the prices increase in Vietnam, then the prices will also increase in the Indian markets, if the prices fall, then the prices will also fall in the Indian markets.

Although the production of black pepper in the country has increased during the current season, but there are reports of reduced production abroad. Due to which a major decline in prices is not possible.
