ब्राज़ील से बढ़ रहा है उड़द का आयात
★ केंद्र सरकार द्वारा उठाये गए क़दमों से अब केवल चुनिंदा देश ही नहीं बल्कि अन्य देशों से दलहनों का आयात बढ़ रहा है। 
★ ब्राज़ील उडद मामले में एक नए निर्यातक देश के रूप में उभर कर सामने आया। 
★ ब्राज़ील से वर्ष 2023 में 4,102 मीट्रिक टन हुआ था, जो चालू वर्ष में अक्टूबर तक 22,000 टन पहुँच चुका है। 
★ अगले वर्ष भी ब्राज़ील में उड़द उत्पादन और निर्यात में बढ़ोतरी की उम्मीद।
★ चना मामले में सरकार द्वारा सही समय पर आयात शुल्क में कटौती किये जाने से ऑस्ट्रेलिया में चना एरिया बड़ी मात्रा में बढ़ा। 
★ इस समय मसूर के साथ साथ चना की कटाई जोरों पर चल रही हैं, कनाडा में बिजाई समाप्त।
★ चना के साथ-साथ ऑस्ट्रलाई मसूर ही हो रहा है आयात। अगस्त में कनाडा से बड़ी मात्रा में मसूर और मटर हो हो रहा है आयात। अफ्रीकन देशों से देसी चना का आयात भी है जारी। 
★ ऑस्ट्रेलिया में इस वर्ष उत्पादन 13.3 लाख टन पहुंचने की उम्मीद, जो पिछले वर्ष 5 लाख टन के आसपास था।
★ चालू वित्त वर्ष में कई देशों जैसी की रूस, कनाडा, यूक्रेन, टर्की से हो रहा है मटर आयात। 
★ तुवर आयात म्यांमार के साथ-साथ अफ्रीकन देशों सूडान, मोजांबिक से हो रहा हैं।
★ उड़द आयात मामले में ब्राज़ील की भूमिका बढ़ रहे है।

आयात आंकड़े इस प्रकार रहे
★ अप्रैल से अगस्त तक 3,21,138.1 टन उड़द का हुआ आयात जिसमें से म्यांमार से 3.08 लाख टन और ब्राज़ील से 7,997 टन रहा आयात। 
★ अप्रैल से अगस्त तक 3.64 लाख टन तुवर का हुआ आयात जिसमें से म्यांमार से 1.33 लाख टन, सूडान से 1.03 लाख टन और  मोजांबिक से 0. 64 लाख टन हुआ आयात। 
★ अप्रैल से अगस्त तक 0.37 लाख टन चना में आयात में से ऑस्ट्रेल्या से 75 हज़ार टन हुआ आयात।
★ अप्रैल से अगस्त तक 3,69,078.1 टन मसूर आयात से 1.97 लाख टन ऑस्ट्रेलिया और 1.48 कनाडा से आयात किया गया। 
★ भविष्य में कनाडा, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, म्यांमार, रूस, टर्की, अफ्रीकन देशों से तुवर, उड़द, मटर, चना आयात बढ़ने की उम्मीद।

Import of urad is increasing from Brazil
★ Due to the steps taken by the central government, now the import of pulses is increasing not only from selected countries but also from other countries.
★ Brazil has emerged as a new exporting country in the case of urad.
★ In the year 2023, there was 4,102 metric tonnes from Brazil, which has reached 22,000 tonnes by October in the current year.
★ There is hope of increase in urad production and export in Brazil next year as well.
★ In the case of gram, due to the timely reduction in import duty by the government, the gram area in Australia increased to a large extent.
★ At present, along with lentils, the harvesting of gram is going on in full swing, sowing is over in Canada.
★ Along with gram, only Australian lentils are being imported. In August, large quantities of lentils and peas are being imported from Canada. Import of Desi gram from African countries is also continuing.
★ This year production in Australia is expected to reach 13.3 lakh tons, which was around 5 lakh tons last year.
★ In the current financial year, peas are being imported from many countries like Russia, Canada, Ukraine, Turkey.
★ Tuvar is being imported from Myanmar as well as African countries Sudan, Mozambique.
★ The role of Brazil is increasing in the matter of urad import.

The import figures are as follows
★ From April to August, 3,21,138.1 tons of urad was imported, out of which 3.08 lakh tons was imported from Myanmar and 7,997 tons from Brazil.
★ From April to August, 3.64 lakh tons of Tuvar was imported, out of which 1.33 lakh tons was imported from Myanmar, 1.03 lakh tons from Sudan and 0.64 lakh tons from Mozambique.
★ From April to August, out of 0.37 lakh tons of Gram imported, 75 thousand tons were imported from Australia.
★ From April to August, out of 3,69,078.1 tons of Masoor imported, 1.97 lakh tons were imported from Australia and 1.48 from Canada.
★ In future, Tuvar, Urad, Peas, Gram imports are expected to increase from Canada, Australia, Myanmar, Russia, Turkey, African countries.
