★ The downward trend in the lentil market continues, with old crop prices now converging with new crop levels.

★ Last week's above-normal temperatures and persistent winds have heightened farmer concerns. Most regions are in urgent need of rainfall.

Old: Rs. 26.50/kg (32¢/lb)

New: Rs. 24.85/kg (30¢/lb)
