USDA reported a private export sale of 186,000 MT of corn to unknown destinations this morning.
The Export Sales data released today showed 2.38 MMT of corn sold in the week ending 11/13, the highest in four weeks. This exceeded the estimated range of 0.8–2.0 MMT and was 59.3% higher than the same week last year.
Delayed Census data showed September corn exports at 6.978 MMT (274.7 million bushels), up 9.09% from August and 60.93% higher than last year. Exports of distiller products were 1.059 MMT, 1.47% above last year, while ethanol shipments totaled 148.4 million gallons.
Taiwan importers purchased 65,000 MT of US corn in an overnight tender.
CONAB’s latest update puts Brazilian corn production at 138.88 MMT, up 0.04 MMT from their previous estimate.
