★ Over the past few months, China has imported large volumes of soybeans from the U.S. With higher stocks, soybean crushing in China has increased, resulting in a sharp rise in soybean oil production.
★ Due to lower soybean oil prices and shorter transit time compared with Argentina and Brazil, China has also exported large quantities of soybean oil to India.
