International Wheat Market
★ In the U.S., 83% of winter wheat has been planted, and 50% of the crop is rated in excellent condition.
★ In the week ending May 29, the U.S. exported 552,000 tonnes of wheat, which is 29.4% higher than the same week last year.
★ Major buyers included:
South Korea: 111,000 tonnes
Philippines: 90,000 tonnes
Indonesia: 83,000 tonnes
★ Total wheat exports in the current season have reached 22.82 million tonnes.
★ Australia has projected wheat production to reach 30.6 million tonnes for the 2025–26 season.
