Japan's Wheat Tender:
Japan has issued a weekly tender for 77,220 metric tons of wheat.
Of this, 55,420 metric tons are reserved exclusively for U.S. wheat, with the remainder sourced from Australia.
Russia's Wheat Forecast:
SovEcon projects Russia's 2025 wheat production at 78.7 million metric tons (MMT).
This is a reduction of 3 MMT from their earlier forecast.
EU Wheat Exports:
The European Union's soft wheat exports for 2024/25 (July 1–December 15) are at 10.54 MMT.
This marks a decline from 15.17 MMT during the same period in the previous year.
France's Wheat Planting:
The French agriculture ministry reports the soft winter wheat area at 4.51 million hectares (11.15 million acres).
This represents an 8.7% increase compared to last year.
