★ 2002 में मध्य प्रदेश में 5-7 लाख हेक्टेयर जमीन की सिंचाई होती थी जो अब बढ़कर 39 लाख हेक्टेयर पहुंची।
★ आगामी 2 वर्षों में 60 लाख हेक्टेयर क्षेत्रफल में सिंचाई का लक्ष्य रखा गया।
★ सभी नहरों को जोड़े जाने की जल्द ही मिलेगी मंजूरी जिससे सबसे अधिक फायदा बुन्देलखण्ड संभाग को मिलेगा।

★ चालू सीजन में खाद्य तेलों का आयात 225 लाख टन होने की उम्मीद।
★ नेशन ऑइल मिशन के तहत भविष्य में खपत का 72% तिलहनों का उत्पादन भारत में होगा।
★ सरकार द्वारा आयात शुल्क में की गयी बढ़ोत्तरी का स्वागत करते हुए कहा गया कि सरकार ने सही समय पर दखलंदाजी की जिससे भविष्य में आने वाली सोया के भावों में बढ़ोत्तरी मिलेगी तथा घरेलू तेल उद्योग में भी नई जान आएगी।
★ 2030-31 में तिलहन उत्पादन 697 लाख टन पहुंचने का लक्ष्य रखा गया जो अभी 390 लाख टन है।
★ भारत को सालाना 2000 करोड़ रुपए खाद्य तेल आयात में करने पड़ते हैं कर्च।

★ In 2002, 5-7 lakh hectares of land was irrigated in Madhya Pradesh, which has now increased to 39 lakh hectares.
★ The target of irrigating 60 lakh hectares of area has been set in the next 2 years.
★ Approval will soon be given to connect all the canals, due to which Bundelkhand division will get the most benefit.

★ Import of edible oils is expected to be 225 lakh tonnes in the current season.
★ Under the National Oil Mission, 72% of the future consumption of oilseeds will be produced in India.
★ Welcoming the increase in import duty by the government, it was said that the government intervened at the right time which will lead to an increase in the prices of soya in the future and will also give a new lease of life to the domestic oil industry.
★ A target has been set to reach 697 lakh tonnes of oilseed production in 2030-31 which is currently 390 lakh tonnes.
★ India has to spend Rs 2000 crore annually on importing edible oil.
