★ 2026 तक एथनोल बेस्ड सप्लाई का लक्ष्य 4.66 बिलियन लीटर भारत सरकार ने रहा।
★ इसके अलावा ग्रेन बेस्ड एथनोल का उत्पादन लक्ष्य 5.5 बिलियन लीटर रखा गया यानी आने वाले दिनों में ग्रेन बेस्ड एथनोल उत्पादन भारत में बढ़ सकता है।
★ भारत में मुख्यतः मक्का से होता है ग्रेन बेस्ड एथनोल का उत्पादन।
★ इसके अलावा एफसीआई से डेमेज ग्रेन की खरीद भी एथनोल बनाने के लिए की जाती है।
★ एक टन मक्का से 370-380 लीटर, ब्रोकन राइस से 400-420 लीटर, चीनी से 300-320 लीटर, C हेवी मोलासिस से 225-223, B हेवी मोलासिस से 310-330 लीटर एथनोल का उत्पादन किया जाता है।
★ आने वाले दिनों में एथनोल बनाने के लिए मक्का की डिमांड निकल सकती है।
