★ आटा मिलों को OMSS स्कीम का बेसब्री से इन्तजार।
★ चालू सीजन में 30 जून तक 266 लाख टन गेहूं की खरीद की गयी। हालाँकि यह खरीद 373 लाख टन के लक्ष्य से कम परन्तु पिछले 3 वर्षों से अधिक हुई है।
★ 2022-23 में 187.9, 2022-23 में 262, 2021-22 में 433.4 लाख टन खरीद हुई थी।
★ पंजाब व हरियाणा में 196 लाख टन गेहूं ख़रीदा गया, लक्ष्य का 93% जबकि मध्य प्रदेश, उत्तर प्रदेश, राजस्थान से करीब 70 लाख टन खरीद हुई।
★ विभिन्न स्कीम में 185 लाख टन गेहूं की जरुरत।
★ केंद्रीय पूल में 82 लाख टन का सरप्लस स्टॉक उपलब्ध, गत सीजन में रिकॉर्ड 100 लाख टन गेहूं की OMSS के तहत की गयी थी बिक्री।
★ कीमतों क नियंत्रित करने के लिए स्टॉक लिमिट लगायी गयी परन्तु इसका अधिक असर बाजारों पर नहीं पड़ा।

★ Flour mills are eagerly waiting for the OMSS scheme.
★ In the current season, 266 lakh tonnes of wheat was procured till June 30. Although this purchase is less than the target of 373 lakh tonnes, but more than the last 3 years.
★ 187.9 lakh tonnes were procured in 2022-23, 262 in 2022-23, 433.4 lakh tonnes in 2021-22.
★ 196 lakh tonnes of wheat was purchased in Punjab and Haryana, 93% of the target, while about 70 lakh tonnes were purchased from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan.
★ 185 lakh tonnes of wheat is required in various schemes.
★ Surplus stock of 82 lakh tonnes is available in the central pool, last season a record 100 lakh tonnes of wheat was sold under OMSS.
★ Stock limits were imposed to control prices but it did not have much impact on the markets.
