News Capsule: Brazil boosts soybean exports, corn outlook trimmed
Soybeans
★ Brazil’s soybean exports in November surged 64% year-on-year to 42 lakh tons, supported by ample supplies even at year-end.
★ December shipments are expected to rise around 90% to 28 lakh tons.
★ Total soy exports for 2025 are estimated at 1,100 lakh tons, compared with 973 lakh tons in 2024.
★ Brazil is accelerating sales ahead of China’s shift toward U.S. soybeans.

★ Due to rising domestic demand, Brazil’s 2025 corn export forecast has been trimmed by 10 to 410 lakh tons.
★ Still, exports in 2025 could exceed the 2024 level of 378 lakh tons.
★ December shipments are projected at 49.9 lakh tons, nearly 38% higher than the previous year.
