★ Safras has estimated Brazil’s corn production for 2025–26 at 142.88 million tons, up 0.68 million tons from the previous estimate.

★ Mild fluctuations were seen in corn prices in India.
★ Corn consumption has been affected due to insufficient demand from the ethanol sector, while ethanol is also being produced from FCI rice.
