News Capsule: Soybean Procurement in Madhya Pradesh under the Bhavantar Scheme
★ Under the Bhavantar 2.0 Scheme, a total of 9.25 lakh tonnes of soybean has been procured so far in Madhya Pradesh.
★ A total of 9.5 lakh farmers have registered under this scheme.
★ Under this scheme, farmers are compensated for the difference between the MSP and the model price.
★ The scheme started on 24 October 2025 and will continue until 15 January 2026.
★ Payment for the sold produce must be transferred by traders to the farmers’ bank accounts within 24 hours, while the price difference (Bhavantar amount) will be paid by the government within 40 days.
★ Action is being taken against 25 individuals suspected of misusing the scheme.
