Soybean – International Market
USDA recorded another flash sale this week, reporting private export sales of 264,000 MT of soybeans to China and 226,000 MT to unknown destinations. For the week ending November 13, Export Sales data showed total soybean bookings at 695,598 MT—on the lower side of the 0.6–1.4 MMT estimate range. Though slightly better than last week, it was still 61% below the same week last year.
Soybean meal sales were 357,861 MT, near the top of the 50,000–450,000 MT range. Soybean oil saw net reductions of 13,345 MT, below the expected net sales of 5,000 to 25,000 MT.
September soybean exports totaled 2.856 MMT (104.94 million bushels), down 8.29% from last year but still the second highest in five years. Meal shipments hit a seventh consecutive monthly record at 1.32 MMT, while soybean oil shipments dropped to 17,617 MT, the lowest since October 2024.
CONAB lowered Brazil's soybean production estimate to 177.12 MMT, down 0.48 MMT from November. China’s state stockpiler Sinograin sold 397,000 MT of imported soybeans in a Thursday auction.
