USDA reported private export sales of 136,000 MT of soybeans to China and 119,000 MT to unknown destinations, with an additional 212,000 MT sold to unknown destinations during the reporting period. Poland purchased 120,000 MT of soybean meal.
NASS updated its monthly Fats & Oils report today, showing September soybean crush at 204.93 million bushels, up 9.89% from last year. October crush was reported at a record 237 million bushels — the highest ever for any month — up 9.86% year-over-year. As of October 31, soybean oil stocks stood at 1.781 billion pounds, up 11.89% from last year.
USDA will release Export Sales data for the week ending November 13 on Thursday morning. Market expectations for the week include 0.6–1.4 MMT of soybean sales, 50,000–450,000 MT of soybean meal, and 5,000–25,000 MT of soybean oil.
Commitment of Traders data showed managed money adding 15,760 contracts to their net long position as of November 10, bringing it to 194,443 contracts.
