Export Sales data released this morning showed soybean sales of 668,901 MT for the 2025/26 marketing year. This was the largest in the past five weeks, though it was 15.42% lower than the same week last year. China purchased 263,000 MT, including 260,000 MT switched from unknown destinations. Germany bought 201,500 MT and Mexico purchased 164,100 MT.
New crop sales totaled 27,000 MT, with 25,000 MT sold to unknown destinations and 2,000 MT to Taiwan.
Soybean meal sales reached 507,601 MT, the highest level since mid-December and above the estimated range of 150,000–400,000 MT.
Soybean oil sales totaled 753 MT, which was within the estimated range of net reductions of 20,000 MT to sales of 24,000 MT.
The NASS March Intentions report will be released next Tuesday, with traders expecting soybean planting to reach 85.55 million acres this spring, which would be about 4.33 million acres higher than last year.
