Paranagua. The series of superb export of soybean from the Latin American country- Brazil continues. In the first two weeks of the current month (June), soybean export from there increased to a peak level of 73 lakh tonnes, its demand remains strong in other countries as well.

Brazil is the largest producer and exporter of soybean in the world. The harvesting and preparation of the crop has ended there.

Although due to heavy rains and severe floods in the far southern province- Rio Grande do Sul, soybean crop was affected in about 25 percent area and its harvesting and preparation was also hampered, but now the crop has been completely harvested.

Soybean sowing is going to start in Brazil in September. Usually, soybean sowing starts from September 16 in the most prominent producing province- Mato Grosso, but this time the sowing process is likely to start 10 days earlier.

Soybean production in Brazil was much lower than expected during the 2023-24 season. According to the customs department, there is a tremendous increase in the export of soybean and the shipment of wheat is also seen to be better than last year,

but the export of corn and soy oil is lagging behind. Now soon the arrival of new goods of Safranha corn will start there, which will increase the stock for export.
