Watermelon Seeds (Magaj Tarbooz) – No Signs of Weakness

New Delhi. At present, there are no indications of any decline in the prices of watermelon seeds. In Rajasthan—the major producing state—market arrivals have remained limited. Moreover, there is no possibility of imports before March–April. Due to these factors, prices of watermelon seeds are expected to remain firm in the coming days.

Even today, Jodhpur market quoted a rise of ₹10, with 7-Star Sudan variety at ₹495 and 5-Star Desi at ₹470. Following reports of strong sentiment from producing centres, prices in the Delhi market have also strengthened, with the Sudan variety now being quoted at ₹520.
