Gram prices rise due to increased buying
New Delhi. Due to the subsiding of selling at low prices and increased buying by dal millers, the prices of gram have strengthened during the current week. In recent days, there has been a significant increase in the demand for gram, while on the other hand, its arrival in the producing markets has remained very limited. Experts believe that the main reason for this rise in gram prices is the activity of dal millers, who are buying at the current level. Now as the price has improved, the selling is also getting limited. Currently, the arrival of gram in the major markets of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra is much less than normal, due to which there is no pressure of supply in the market. For this reason, the price of gram is getting support upwards. According to market experts, if the arrival situation does not improve in the coming weeks and the demand of the millers remains, then further increase in the prices of gram can be seen. Due to strong demand from dal millers, prices of Delhi gram registered an increase of Rs. 75 per quintal this week and with this increase, the prices became Madhya Pradesh line Rs. 5750/5775 and Rajasthan line Rs. 5800/5825 per quintal at the end of the week.
