Delayed Export Sales data for the week of October 16 was released this morning, showing 341,306 MT of wheat sold. This was below trade expectations and marked a 3-week low.
USDA’s catch-up will continue on Monday with data for the week of October 23, expected to show wheat sales between 350,000 and 650,000 MT.
FranceAgriMer estimates that France’s wheat planting was 98% complete as of November 24. Conditions slipped 1 percentage point to 97%. The European Commission raised its EU wheat production estimate to 134.2 MMT, up 0.8 MMT from the previous figure. Ending stocks for 2025/26 are now pegged at 11.5 MMT, a 0.7-MMT increase from last month.
According to the Buenos Aires Grains Exchange, Argentina’s wheat production estimate has been raised to 25.5 MMT, up 1.5 MMT from the prior projection.
