CFTC released delayed Commitment of Traders data for the week of October 21 this afternoon. It showed CBT wheat spec traders trimming 2,918 contracts from their net short to 108,825 contracts. In KC wheat, they cut 433 contracts from their net short position to 67,271 contracts.
According to the European Commission, EU wheat exports totaled 9.66 MMT from July 1 to November 30, down 0.48 MMT from last year. Algeria has issued a tender for 50,000 MT of soft milling wheat with a Wednesday deadline. A South Korean importer purchased 65,000 MT of wheat in an overnight tender.
