Another catch-up release of the weekly Export Sales report will be issued Thursday morning, with analysts expecting 200,000–600,000 MT of wheat sales for the week ending 11/13.
NASS released the quarterly Flour Milling report on Wednesday, showing July–September wheat grind at 231.4 million bushels. This was 8.5 million bushels higher than the April–June quarter, but 1 million bushels below the same period last year.
CFTC issued another update of the Commitment of Traders report this afternoon, showing managed money reducing its net short in CBT wheat by 11,852 contracts to 58,761 contracts as of November 10. Speculators in KC wheat also trimmed 9,237 contracts, lowering their net short position to 33,217 contracts.
