BSAF to Organize South Asia Agri Forum (SAAF) in Yangon on January 22–23, 2026

Mumbai: The Bharat Sub-Continent Agri Foundation (BSAF), in collaboration with Myanmar’s Overseas Agri Traders Association (OATA), will organize the South Asia Agri Forum (SAAF) 2026 on January 22–23, 2026, at the Hotel Park Royal in Yangon, the capital of Myanmar. The event is expected to receive strong support and cooperation from the Government of Myanmar.

The Managing Director of BSAF recently met several senior officials of the Myanmar government to discuss the details of the upcoming event. During this meeting, both the Myanmar government and the Embassy of India in Yangon confirmed their support for the organization of the forum. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring a smooth and hassle-free visa process for international delegates attending the event. Government officials have also accepted invitations to participate in the program, reflecting Myanmar’s intent to play an active role in shaping the future of the global agricultural trade landscape.

The South Asia Agri Forum (SAAF) 2026 aims to become a global platform for advancing innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in the agricultural sector. Yangon will serve as the meeting point for the ideas and voices that will help define the future of agriculture across the region and beyond.
