चीनी कीमतों में बढ़त 
★ अगस्त महीने ने 22 लाख टन आया बिक्री कोटा, जुलाई से 2 लाख टन कम।
★ जो मिलें कोटा के अनुपात में बिक्री नहीं कर रही उनके खिलाफ सरकार सख्त।
★ अगस्त में रक्षाबंधन और इसके बाद त्यौहारी सीजन शुरू होगा।
★ चालू बिजाई को देख सरकार संतुष्ट।
★ साथ ही सरकार द्वारा जल्द ही चीनी की MSP बढ़ाये जाने की मिल रही ख़बरों से कीमतों को मिला सपोर्ट। 
★ सरकार फिलहाल निर्यात खोले जाने के पक्ष में नहीं, कोशिश रहेगी की स्टॉक में पड़ी अतिरिक्त चीनी का इस्तेमाल एथेनॉल बनाने में किया जाये। 
★ चालू सीजन के अंत में करीब 90 लाख टन का बकाया स्टॉक बचने की उम्मीद।
★ अगर बची चीनी का इस्तेमाल इथेनॉल में किया जाता है तो स्टॉक में आ सकती है कमी। 
★ फिलहाल कीमतें थोड़ी और बढ़कर स्थिर रहने की उम्मीद।

Increase in sugar prices
★ August month saw a sales quota of 22 lakh tonnes, 2 lakh tonnes less than July.
★ Government is strict against those mills which are not selling in proportion to the quota.
★ Rakshabandhan will be celebrated in August and the festive season will begin after that.
★ Government is satisfied with the ongoing sowing.
★ Also, prices got support from the news of the government increasing the MSP of sugar soon.
★ Government is not in favour of opening exports at the moment, efforts will be made to use the extra sugar lying in stock to make ethanol.
★ At the end of the current season, about 90 lakh tonnes of outstanding stock is expected to remain.
★ If the remaining sugar is used in ethanol, then there may be a decrease in the stock.
★ At present, prices are expected to rise a little more and remain stable.
