★ According to the USDA, 1.67 million tonnes of corn were exported from the U.S. in the week ending April 16, which is 3% lower than the same period last year.
★ Mexico imported the highest at 0.5 million tonnes, followed by Japan with 0.35 million tonnes and South Korea with 0.27 million tonnes.
★ Total exports in the current season have reached 51.7 million tonnes, almost equal to last year.
★ Yesterday, bullishness was observed in the CBOT corn market.

Corn Domestic Market
★ Corn prices have been gradually increasing over the past one and a half months.
★ The upcoming Kharif season will require close monitoring of El Niño.
★ The ongoing conflict between United States and Iran is affecting crude oil prices and gas supply, creating pressure for domestic ethanol usage. The government is also considering this, and if implemented, the use of corn, rice, and sugar in ethanol production may increase.
★ Export demand is providing support. Corn prices are expected to remain strong in the coming days.
