Wheat International Market
★ According to the USDA, 0.52 million tonnes of wheat were exported from the U.S. in the week ending April 16. Among these, Philippines purchased 96,000 tonnes, Mexico bought 91,000 tonnes, and Indonesia imported 57,800 tonnes.
★ Total wheat exports have reached 21.5 million tonnes, 14% higher than last year.

Domestic Wheat Market
★ Yesterday, the government approved an additional 2.5 million tonnes of wheat for export, bringing the total approved wheat exports to 5 million tonnes.
★ Yesterday, wheat prices saw the largest one-day increase of the current season.

★ I Grain India believes that prices may face some resistance after these rises. It will depend on the extent of government procurement.
