USDA reported corn export shipments of 1.669 MMT (65.7 mbu) for the week ending October 30, up 34.31% from the previous week and more than double the same week last year. Mexico was the top destination with 512,336 MT, followed by South Korea with 282,975 MT and Japan with 208,955 MT. Since September 1, total exports for the 2025/26 marketing year have reached 12.257 MMT (482.54 mbu), up 63.99% from the same period last year.
StoneX estimated the 2025 US corn yield at 186 bpa, slightly higher than last month’s 185.9 bpa. Despite the government shutdown, the NASS Crop Production report is expected to be released this month, with the new date set for November 14.
According to AgRural, Brazil’s first corn crop is 60% planted as of Thursday, 1 percentage point ahead of last year’s pace.
