Cotton futures closed Friday’s session 4 to 42 points higher, with the December contract up 134 points for the week.
Crude oil futures rose 30 cents to $60.87 per barrel, while the U.S. dollar index increased $0.197 to 99.545.
The Seam’s online auction on October 30 showed 699 bales sold at an average price of 63.03 cents per pound.
The Cotlook A Index rose 100 points on Thursday to 77.40 cents.
ICE certified cotton stocks fell by 4,303 bales on October 30, bringing the total certified stocks to 13,749 bales.
