ICE Cotton futures saw mixed trade on Wednesday, with contracts closing 2 to 3 cents higher after some early weakness. Crude oil futures fell 96 cents per barrel to $59.60 for the day, while the U.S. dollar index slipped $0.065 to 100.005.
Tuesday’s online auction from The Seam showed 729 bales sold at an average price of 65.95 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index rose 25 points on November 4 to 77.10 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks were steady at 13,749 bales on November 4.
