New Delhi: NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India)—an agency under the Union Ministry of Agriculture—has decided to commence the sale by auction of mustard stocks. This follows the completion of procurement operations under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) from farmers in Assam,

Chhattisgarh, Haryana, and Gujarat during the current Rabi marketing season. A total stock of 48,163.52 tonnes of mustard is available for sale, comprising 77.15 tonnes in Assam, 255.15 tonnes in Chhattisgarh, 44,610 tonnes in Haryana, and 3,221.22 tonnes in Gujarat.

The sale of these mustard stocks will begin on July 10, 2026, through various e-auction portals. Only MTMS-integrated portals will be authorized to conduct the auction of these stocks on their respective platforms.

NAFED has been directed to make the necessary arrangements to disseminate information regarding the auction sale to its local offices in the aforementioned states, ensuring that buyers are kept fully informed in a timely manner.
