Farmers in Yadgir district are more inclined towards peanuts for the Rabi season
Farmers in Yadgir district are increasingly focusing on peanuts for the Rabi season, with significant progress already made in sowing. As of the latest reports, peanut sowing has been carried out across 13,296 hectares, which is about 66% of the targeted area of 18,548 hectares. This process is expected to continue until the end of November.

On a larger scale, the state has set a sowing target of 41,540 hectares for the Rabi season, and 20,247 hectares (48.74%) have been covered so far. While sowing of other Rabi crops is also underway, the pace of planting these crops appears to be slower compared to last season.

This shift towards peanuts in Yadgir is notable and reflects the growing importance of this crop in the region's agricultural practices during the Rabi season.
