Import Tariffs on China to Increase Further
★ The U.S. President announced yesterday that starting November 1, import tariffs on Chinese products could be raised to 155%. This move is expected to heighten tensions between the two countries and impact the agricultural sector.
★ ANEC reported that Brazil exported 7.34 million tonnes of soybeans in October.
★ According to the European Commission, European Union countries imported 3.51 million tonnes of soybeans from July 1 to October 19 — 3.5% lower compared to the same period last year.
