The forecast for the coming week calls for a dry pattern across much of the Southern Plains. NOAA’s 7-day QPF data shows up to about an inch of precipitation in some SRW regions.
According to France’s farm ministry, the country’s 2026 soft wheat acreage is estimated at 4.56 million hectares (11.25 million acres), up by 0.1 million hectares (0.24 million acres) from last year.
EU soft wheat exports totaled 10.5 million metric tons from July 1 to December 14, trailing last year’s pace by 0.3 million metric tons.
