कनाडा मसूर उत्पादन, सप्लाई, निर्यात आंकड़े: AAFC
सीजन 2023-24
★ मसूर निर्यात 2022-23 सीजन की तुलना में 24% घटकर 16.7 लाख टन रहा, जिसमें 10.7 लाख टन लाल और 6 लाख टन हरी मसूर थी।
★ तुर्की, भारत, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात और यूरोपीय संघ रहे सबसे बड़े आयातक। 
★ घरेलू खपत पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में 2.7 लाख टन मीट्रिक टन था।सीजन के अंत में कैरी-आउट स्टॉक घटकर 1.65 मीट्रिक टन रहा। 
★ कम आपूर्ति के कारण औसत कनाडाई मसूर की कीमत 2022-23 की तुलना में 22% अधिक और $1,000/t के रिकॉर्ड औसत मूल्य पर पहुंची।

सीजन 2024-25
★  इस सीजन में उत्पादन पिछले सीजन से 8 लाख टन बढ़कर 26 लाख टन पहुंचने का का अनुमान है। बड़ी हरी दालों का उत्पादन पिछले वर्ष से लगभग 7 लाख टन और लाल मसूर का 16 लाख टन अन्य  मसूर का 3 लाख टन अधिक होने की उम्मीद। 
★ आपूर्ति पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में 7 लाख टन अधिक होने की उम्मीद।
★ निर्यात 21 लाख टन और 2.58 लाख मीट्रिक टन के घरेलु खपत के बाद सीजन के अंत में कैरी-आउट स्टॉक वर्ष से लगभग 4.8 लाख टन अधिक होने का अनुमान है। 
★ कुल औसत कीमत 2023-24 की तुलना में 17% कम, $830/टन होने का अनुमान है।

★ अमेरिका में 2024-25 के लिए मसूर की बुवाई का क्षेत्र USDA द्वारा 0.94 मिलियन एकड़ (0.38 Mha) होने का अनुमान है, जो मोंटाना और नॉर्थ डकोटा में अधिक क्षेत्र में बुवाई के कारण 2023-24 से 71% अधिक है।
★ USDA का अनुमान है कि 2024-25 में अमेरिकी मसूर उत्पादन 0.43 मीट्रिक टन तक बढ़ जाएगा, जो 2023-24 की तुलना में 66% अधिक है

Season 2023-24
★ Lentil exports fell 24% to 1.67 million tonnes compared to 2022-23 season, comprising 1.07 million tonnes of red and 6 million tonnes of green lentils.
★ Turkey, India, the United Arab Emirates and the European Union were the largest importers.
★ Domestic consumption was 2.7 million tonnes compared to the previous year. Carry-out stocks decreased to 1.65 million tonnes at the end of the season.
★ Due to low supply, the average Canadian lentil price was 22% higher than in 2022-23 and reached a record average price of $1,000/t.

Season 2024-25
★ Production is estimated to reach 2.6 million tonnes this season, up 8 million tonnes from the previous season. Production of large green lentils is expected to be about 7 lakh tons and red lentils 16 lakh tons and other lentils 3 lakh tons higher than last year.
★ Supplies are expected to be 7 lakh tons higher than last year.
★ Carry-out stocks at the end of the season are estimated to be about 4.8 lakh tons higher than the year after exports of 21 lakh tons and domestic consumption of 2.58 lakh metric tons.
★ Overall average price is estimated to be $830/ton, 17% lower than 2023-24.
