★ उम्मीद के अनुसार घटी कीमतों के कारण देश में कपास की बिजाई में गिरावट देखी गयी, बिजाई गत वर्ष से 9.75 लाख हेक्टेयर कमजोर।

★ तेलंगाना को छोड़ अन्य सभी राज्यों में बिजाई पिछड़ी।

★ उत्तर भारत के कुछ क्षेत्रों में गुलाबी इल्ली व सफ़ेद मक्खी देखी गयी जिससे किसानों में बढ़ी बेचैनी।

★ एरिया घटने के कारण इस वर्ष उत्पादन कमजोर बैठ सकता है जिसका असर कीमतों पर पड़ेगा।

----★ आई ग्रेन इंडिया का मानना है कि नई फसल आने के दौरान कपास की कीमतों में वृद्धि की प्रबल सम्भावना।

★ घटे उत्पादन के कारण विदेशों से कपास का आयात बढ़ने की उम्मीद।

★ As expected, due to the fall in prices, cotton sowing in the country saw a decline, sowing was 9.75 lakh hectares less than last year.

★ Sowing lagged in all other states except Telangana.

★ Pink caterpillar and white fly were seen in some areas of North India, which increased anxiety among farmers.

★ Due to reduction in area, production may be weak this year, which will affect the prices.

★ I Grain India believes that there is a strong possibility of increase in cotton prices when the new crop arrives.

★ Due to reduced production, cotton imports from abroad are expected to increase.
