New Delhi. Due to sporadic arrivals of new supplies, wholesale mustard oil prices declined sharply during the week of February 10th compared to the week of February 6th. The supply and availability of new mustard seeds is expected to increase rapidly in the coming days, which could put pressure on prices.
Meanwhile, as part of the bilateral trade agreement with the United States, import duties on soybean oil and DDGS are likely to be reduced or eliminated. This is impacting soybean and soybean oil prices in the domestic market.
Imports of DDGS will reduce domestic demand and consumption of soybean meal, impacting oil mills' revenues, which could lead to a softening of soybean prices.
