नेपाल और बांग्लादेश से फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट के तहत बढ़ सकता है रिफाइंड तेलों का आयात, सरकार की मध्यस्थता जरुरी: सुधाकर देसाई, प्रेसिडेंट IVPA 
★ एक इंटरव्यू IVPA के प्रेसिडेंट ने कहा कि नेपाल व बांग्लादेश से भारत को फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट के तहत बढ़ सकता है रिफाइंड तेलों का आयात।
★ पहले भी जब आयात शुल्क ऊंचा था नेपाल से बड़ी मात्रा में भारत को हुआ था आयात जिससे उद्योग लम्बे समय तक हुआ था प्रभावित।
★ इंडोनेशिया व मलेशिया ने रिफाइंड पाम तेल की कीमतों में इतनी बढ़ोत्तरी नहीं की जितनी क्रूड पाम तेल में की यानी इन दोनों देशों से बड़ी मात्रा में रिफाइंड तेलों का आयात हो सकता है।
★ 13 सितम्बर को क्रूड पाम, सोया, सूरजमुखी तेल ड्यूटी 0% से बढ़ाकर 20%, रिफाइंड पाम, रिफाइंड सोया, रिफाइंड सूरजमुखी तेल पर 12.5% से बढ़ाकर 32% किया था जिसमें सेस शामिल नहीं।
★ सेस लगने के बाद क्रूड तेलों पर 27.5% रिफाइंड तेलों पर 35.75% की लग रही है ड्यूटी।
★ नेपाल व बांग्लादेश से पाम व अन्य तेलों के आयात पर न के बराबर ड्यूटी लगती है। 35.75% ड्यूटी बचाने के लिए बढ़ सकता है आयात।
★ सरकार द्वारा MSP बढ़ाया जाना किसानों के हित में साथ ही सरकारी खरीद भी की जा रही है।
★ IVPA प्रेसिडेंट ने कहा कि रिफाइंड व क्रूड के बीच केवल 7.5% का अंतर जिसे बढ़ाना चाहिए ताकि तेल उद्योग को मिले फायदा जो अब केवल पैकिंग कर रहे हैं।
