National Oilseeds Conference on February 6-8 and Castor Seminar on February 27-28

Mumbai. A National Oilseeds Conference on food oil security for a self-reliant India will be held from February 6 to 8, 2026, at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, a constituent unit of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
This important conference is being organized by SRNR in collaboration with ISOR, SSRD, and SPORCD, and is expected to be attended by all stakeholders involved in the oilseeds industry and trade.
The Solvent Extractors' Association of India (SEA) is also extending its full support to this event. The association will present a significant paper on the topic of self-reliance in edible oils and the way forward.
Following this, a two-day Global Castor Conference - 2026 will be held on February 27 and 28, 2026, in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat.
This 24th Global Castor Conference will be held at Hotel The Villa in Gandhinagar and is expected to attract a large number of delegates.
Organized by the Solvent Extractors' Association of India (SEA), this conference will focus specifically on sustainability, innovation, and value addition in the castor sector.
India is the world's leading producer of castor and the largest exporter of castor oil and castor meal. India exports a large quantity of value-added castor products to many countries around the world, earning valuable foreign exchange for the country.
More than 250 delegates have already registered for this conference, and over 400 delegates, including 40-50 foreign delegates and buyers, are expected to participate. Gujarat is the leading castor-producing state in India.
