Chandigarh. The Wheat Products Promotion Society, in collaboration with the Punjab Roller Flour Millers Association, is organizing a two-day national seminar on wheat on November 7-8, 2025, at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh. The theme is "Wheat in the Rotation: Climate, Quality, and Consumption Readiness."

The primary objective of this event is to bring together the entire wheat value chain, from farmers and breeders to millers, brokers, crude processors, and researchers.

This seminar can prove to be very effective and useful in preparing a roadmap for the future of the Indian wheat industry in the context of climate change, changing food consumption patterns, and global trade opportunities.

Most of the country's leading companies and other stakeholders are expected to participate in this event. This includes wheat growers and breeders (seed producers), meteorologists, policy makers, millers, bakers, food processors, technology providers, and international experts.

The presence of representatives from all these sectors will make this seminar a truly multilateral platform. It will facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information and pave the way for cross-border cooperation.

The Chairman of the Wheat Products Promotion Society stated that this will be a valuable medium to explore opportunities in the wheat sector and provide an opportunity to understand future challenges.

India is the second largest producer and consumer of wheat. Sowing of this important food crop has already begun here, so it is crucial to monitor the future situation.
