★ अनाजों से एथनोल बनाने वाली डिस्टिलरी कंपनियों ने सरकार से एथनोल के दाम बढ़ाने को कहा।
★ कंपनियों ने सरकार से कहा कि इस समय मक्का की कीमतें अधिक हैं जिसके फलस्वरूप एथनोल की लागत भी बढ़ रही है।
★ इन कंपनियों ने सरकार को ज्ञापन देते हुए कहा कि एथनोल के भाव अनाजों के भावों के अनुपात में बढ़ने-घटने चाहिए।
★ एफसीआई के पास 3-4 वर्षों का चावल का स्टॉक उपलब्ध।
★ अभी फ़िलहाल मक्का से अधिक हो रहा है एथनोल उत्पादन।
★ अभी हाल ही में एफसीआई ने 23 लाख टन चावल एथनोल बनाने के लिए डिस्टिलरी को आवंटित किया था।
★ उद्योग के अनुसार उन्हें बल्क में मक्का से बने एथनोल पर प्रति लीटर 9.28 और डेमेज ग्रेन का 8.36 रुपए प्रति लीटर का हो रहा है नुकसान।
