★ कई फसलें ऐसी हैं जिनका उत्पादन बहुत कम होता है जैसे रागी, राम तिल (नाइजर सीड) और न ही इनकी सरकारी खरीद अच्छे अनुपात में होती है।
★ पिछले 10 सालों से भारत में सूरजमुखी के उत्पादन के प्रति किसानों का मोह घटा।
★ सूरजमुखी की MSP 520 रुपए बढ़ाकर 7280 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल की गयी ताकि सूरजमुखी का एरिया बढ़े और खाद्य तेलों के आयात में कुछ कमी आए।
