News Capsule: Andhra Pradesh Kharif Pulses Procurement Approved
★ The central government has approved the procurement of pulses from Andhra Pradesh under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) for the 2025–26 kharif season.
★ Under the scheme, procurement of 116,690 metric tonnes of Pigeon Pea), 903 metric tonnes Mung, and 28,440 metric tonnes of Urad has been approved from the state.
★ The announcement of registration and procurement dates is expected soon.
